Teaching philosophy
I emphasize mathematics, in class discussion and critical thinking skills. My focus is to strengthen mathematical fundamentals and de-mystify economics vocab to encourage student confidence. I also recognize the need to teach students practical use cases for AI tools, while also demonstrating the core value-add of critical thinking skills developed through reading, handwriting notes, and repeated application of mathematical methods. Check out (or use) my sample syllabus with principles of community and AI policy.
